Our Answer to Customer Service is YES! We will do everything possible to help you select great products and make sure you are happy with your purchases.

 

SIZING

What if I don’t know the right size to buy?

Don’t despair! We offer some great resources to help you purchase the right size:

  • Tips: Here are some easy tips to determine the correct size, especially if you are purchasing a gift:
    • Ask a close friend, sister or mother of the gift recipient – these close relations will likely know the sizing preference.
    • Look in the closet – If most of her current clothes are labeled a ‘large’ that is probably the size she prefers. For kids, look in their closets as well, although you might want to buy a size up if they are growing fast.
    • How does she/he generally wear their clothes? Loose and baggy or tight-fitting? When deciding between sizes, choose the larger or smaller based on how she/he wears their regular clothing.
    • Unisex sizing – products marked as unisex sizing are sized the same for men and women, boys and girls. Many of our matching clothing sets are unisex sizing. Women may want to purchase the smaller size.
  • Size Charts – We offer sizing chart for select products with specific measurements and comparisons to standard sizing for men, women and kids. Our products are from different manufacturers, so not all sizing charts are the same.
  • Contact Us - We know our products, we have tried them all. We know ladies, mens and childrens sizes. If you have any questions or would like more detailed ‘fit’ information on any product, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
  • Buy Both and Return Later – If you are still not sure and want to make sure you secure the right fit for an occasion, we suggest you purchase both sizes and simply return one within 30 days for a refund.
  • Easy Exchanges – If you try your best and the fit isn’t quite right, no problem. Exchanges within 30 days are easy and fast.

 

 

I need a different size for my top than my bottom, but all your sets are one size for the whole set – can I get a different size top than the bottom?

Yes! We package our sets into same size top and bottom (i.e. a Large set comes with a large size top and a large size bottom), however we are more than happy to accommodate special sizing and we do all the time. You can do this several ways for your convenience:

·        Select one size and purchase online with a note in the message section at the Shopping Cart page to us with your special sizing needs. We will always confirm any special requests when we email you your expected ship date.

·        Contact us and place your order by phone. Again, we will confirm with you by email invoice.

 

Why do different products have different sizing charts?

Our products come from different vendors. To provide our customers with the best possible sizing information, we take into account several factors: We review the manufacturers sizing charts. We personally try on every style and size (using a variety of models including ladies, men and kids of all ages) to determine if a particular style fits loose or snug or runs large or on the small side. We personally take measurements. We consider any customer feedback on the fit of our products. Taking all this into consideration, we recommend a sizing chart or number/age fit for each and every item individually. We strive to provide you with as much information as possible to ensure the best fit and size selection.

 

 

INVENTORY

Ø      If a product is marked ‘in stock’ or is listed for purchase on your site, does that guarantee you have it ready to ship?

Most often, yes. We keep our site constantly updated to our changing inventory stock. There is occasion where we have a run on a specific style or size and have sold out before we can update our site. In this case, we will always contact you to let you know and with an expected date that we will have more. Most of our products are own design and we can restock within 8-10 days or sooner. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like details on a particular item.

 

Ø      Do you accommodate Special Orders?

Sometimes. This is considered on a case-by-case basis. We have done special orders before and those items have then been added to our site and become great sellers, so we welcome your feedback and suggestions! We can’t accommodate every special order request, but if it is possible and makes sense for us we are happy to do so. Please contact us to discuss.

Ø      Can I purchase just the top of a set?

Yes – contact us and we will be happy to process your order for a top or bottom only of a set.

ORDERING

 

CHANGING ORDER DETAILS AFTER PLACING AN ORDER:

Ø      Yikes! I placed my order online but forgot to add an apartment number and/or need to change the shipping address. How can I make sure information gets added to my order after I place it online?

No problem! Simply contact us at your earliest convenience with the information you would like included with your order at (919) 462-1600 or customerservice@footstepsclothing.com. We will confirm that we have received your information.

Ø      I placed an order for customized jewelry but forgot to add the personalized name – how can I make sure this information is included with my order?

It is our policy to confirm all personalized jewelry orders to ensure order correctness. You can simply reply to that confirmation or contact us as indicated above.

GIFTS:

Ø      How can I make sure there is no price information included with my gift purchase?

Add a gift message. Any orders with a gift message are automatically sent with a packing slip only that does not contain pricing information. On occasion we offer free gift wrap with orders that have a gift message.

SHIPPING

 

Ø      How soon will my order ship?

In stock orders will generally ship the next business day. Our standard shipping is USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery time). You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours (usually immediately, but we request that you allow us 24 hours) with your expected ship date. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will generally ship the following Monday.

 

Ø      What if I don’t receive a confirmation of my ship date?

On occasion our confirmation email to you is undeliverable due to an invalid email address or for any other unusual reason. This is infrequent. However, please be assured that your order is in the process of being fulfilled even if you do not receive a confirmation. You are always welcome to contact us with questions regarding your order!

EXPRESS SHIPPING

Ø      I selected EXPRESS shipping at checkout. When will my order ship?

EXPRESS Shipping orders of in-stock items placed before 11:00AM will ship the same day for delivery the next business day (provided USPS provides overnight service to your delivery address). Orders placed after 11:00 AM will ship the following day for overnight delivery. You will receive an email confirmation of your exact ship date and expected delivery date. Express orders placed after 11:00 AM on Friday will ship on the following Monday.

 

Ø      It is after 11:00 AM and I really need my package tomorrow. Is there any way I can get it shipping today for next day delivery?

We will do everything possible to accommodate your shipping preferences! Please contact us at (919) 462-1600 or customerservice@footstepsclothing.com if you require same day shipping. If it is possible, we will do it! We are committed to customer service - we have been known to take orders up until 4:00 PM and rush them to ship overnight next day!
